The basic process for mattress cleaning is pretty simple. Warm water, neutral detergent, don’t get it too wet, don’t leave residue behind, and get it dry quickly.

Mattress Cleaning FAQ's

A: Yes they can, but care must be taken. Low moisture, proper cleaning agents, and rapid drying times are important.

A: Mattress cleaning is not an effective method for removing beds bugs. You will need chemical or heat treatment from an exterminator.

A: Disinfection is the process of killing any bacteria or microbes and is not part of the standard cleaning process and requires a special product be applied to achieve.  We can apply an EPA registered disinfectant at additional charge.

A: Manufacturers require neutral pH detergents and low moisture cleaning and we follow these guidelines.

A: We do not clean pillows and do not recommend it. Instead we suggest a high quality pillow cover that can be laundered.

A: We would recommend mattress cleaning on an annual basis. If you have a particular sensitivity to dust mites or allergy problems, consider cleaning more often.

A: Proper cleaning will not allow mold or mildew growth.

A: Our cleaning method uses commercial grade vacuum equipment and reduces dust mites.

A: Our method uses fragrance-free neutral detergent followed by hot water rinse-extraction.

A: Most mattress material is very prone to staining. While we have a number of tools and processes at our disposal, we are not able to guaranty spot or stain removal.

A: Mattresses should be dry in approximately 1 hour. Press a Kleenex down on the freshly cleaned mattress and check for moisture transfer.
